I wanted to see a little bit more of the world, so took off to explore some of Europe while working for the holiday company Mark Warner. Having worked several seasons in Greece and finally in Egypt I met my husband and welcomed my first son. With my son starting school I joined another local nursery and progressed to Room Leader. I love that in my job, no day is the same; one day you could be an explorer in the Amazon jungle, and the next you could be covered in gloop investigating the world of letters and numbers.

Over the years I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, families, and incredible teams, always with one goal in mind: to create spaces where everyone can truly thrive. Having made my home in Farnham, community means a great deal to me, and I believe a nursery should be an extension of that, a place where families feel supported, children are celebrated, and staff feel proud, valued, and inspired to do what they love every day. For me, nursery life isn’t just a career, it’s a calling.
