The builders have been very busy! With planning permission all secured, work has sped along this week and The Old Gospel Hall in Farncombe now has a full-length mezzanine floor. This will be our dedicated baby room. Under 2s will love this comfy and homely space, where we work on a 1:3 staffing ratio.
After weeks of preparation work, we have seen an incredible transforamtion this week. With the mezzanine floorig in, we also have flooring on the ground level. It may still look like a building site, but things are progressing at a great speed now.
So much so, that we have put in our first order for resources! The images on this page are examples from our supplier of the units that we have ordered and give a good impression of how Toddletown Nursery in Farncombe will look. Think natural wood equipment, natural resources and lots of open-ended play!

Our areas will be full of sensory exploration, open shelves so that children can choose what to play with and of course lots of comfy areas too!
For children who love to get creative, our nursery in Farncombe will be well equipped to keep them happy! We will have lots of arts and crafts resources, but it won't be restricted to inside. Mark making and those all important first steps towards writing will take place in the garden just as much as inside.
Our ethos at Toddletown is all about natural resources, open-ended play and child led play. The different shapes and textiles you can see in this image are an exmaple of the resources we will have.
