Prestige Nursery of the Year 2025

About Godalming
At Toddletown Godalming, we’re a small, welcoming day nursery in Farncombe where children are known, valued and encouraged to grow at their own pace. Our home-from-home environment offers a nurturing alternative to a more formal setting, with a family-focused team dedicated to helping every child feel safe, settled and confident. We have robust policies and procedures in place to help keep children, families, staff and visitors safe and secure.
Our nursery is full of opportunities to explore, create and discover. From imaginative role play areas and a dedicated art gallery wall to cosy reading corners, hands-on discovery zones and our outdoor garden, every space is designed to inspire curiosity and encourage independence. We carefully support every stage of early development, from our youngest babies through to preschool, with engaging resources and experiences that bring learning to life.
We’re proud to have been recognised as Prestige Nursery of the Year 2025, reflecting our commitment to providing quality childcare in a warm, nurturing environment.
We also know that choosing childcare is about finding the right fit for your family. Our convenient location right next to Farncombe train station makes us an ideal choice for parents commuting to London or working locally. With flexible drop-off and collection times, we aim to make your daily routine easier while providing a reassuringly personal nursery experience.
At Toddletown Godalming, children enjoy a healthy, balanced diet to fuel their busy days of play and discovery. Children attending for a full day receive breakfast, a mid-morning snack, a hot lunch and tea. Our hot lunch and afternoon tea are provided by Zebedees, specialists in preparing nutritious, delicious meals for children.
We’ve also partnered with Famly, a secure nursery app that keeps you connected to your child’s day. You can receive updates, follow their learning journey and development, and manage invoices and payments, all in one convenient place.
We’d love to welcome you to Toddletown Godalming. Get in touch to arrange a visit, meet our team and discover what makes our nursery such a special place for children to explore, discover and shine.
Our Nursery
Our Godalming nursery is full of exciting resources to explore. Older toddlers and preschoolers have an extensive role play area, well stocked arts and crafts area with their own art gallery wall and plenty of cosy spaces too. Book lovers, budding scientists and quiet puzzle enthusiasts will all find something they love at Toddletown.
Across the nursery, children have access to resources that cover the seven areas of learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage. There are endless opportunities for exploration and imaginations to run wild.
If you are looking for a nursery place for your baby, we have a light and airy room with plenty of resources to help their cognitive and physical development. Dedicated black and white areas for our youngest babies and fantastic play equipment for when they’re steady on their feet! And of course, lots of areas for cuddles and cosy time with a much loved book.
The Garden
Opportunities for learning and development don’t stop when the children go outside. We offer free-flow access into the garden and we go outside in all weathers. With a purpose built water play area, mud kitchen, all-weather sandpit and the Toddletown Sheep, the hardest part is choosing which area of the garden they want to explore!
We are fortunate to have Farncombe’s beautiful recreation ground just across the road from the nursery. This provides us with even more opportunities for physical development, bug hunting and family events.
Curiosity Cabin
Our Curiosity Cabin is a special space where toddlers and preschoolers can let their imaginations lead the way. Designed to encourage exploration, creativity and hands-on learning, it gives children another exciting environment in which to follow their interests, try new things and discover the world around them.
We believe some of the most valuable learning happens when children are given the time, space and freedom to be curious. Whether they’re investigating something new, experimenting through play or creating their own little adventures, experiences in the Curiosity Cabin help children develop their thinking skills, build confidence and discover new interests.

Karen
Nursery Manager
I have worked in the early years sector since gaining my qualification 16 years ago and beginning my career in a local nursery.
I wanted to see a little bit more of the world, so took off to explore some of Europe while working for the holiday company Mark Warner. Having worked several seasons in Greece and finally in Egypt I met my husband and welcomed my first son. With my son starting school I joined another local nursery and progressed to Room Leader. I love that in my job, no day is the same; one day you could be an explorer in the Amazon jungle, and the next you could be covered in gloop investigating the world of letters and numbers.
