St David’s Day Activity
Today is St. David’s day! St. David is the patron saint of Wales and we celebrate on the 1st of March each year by wearing one of Wale’s national emblems - a Daffodil.
Shrove Tuesday is the last day of feasting before 40 days of lent begins. Its called Shrove Tuesday as it was tradition to use all the eggs, butter and fat before lent began.
