Our Nursery

Baby Room
In our light and spacious baby rooms we can welcome up to 12 babies a day, and it’s where most of our families join Toddletown. As part of our settling in process, we work closely with families to learn about your child and their preferences. The baby room routines closely match that of your home routine, including your child’s own sleep routine. Our babies enjoy a cosy sleep in the room which they know and feel safe in, surrounding by familiar staff and friends.
Our planning and observations will be tailored to each child, allowing opportunities for them to fully explore and comprehend each specific interest at a time. Our baby room reflects a home like atmosphere ensuring the children feel safe, secure and relaxed at all times.
Toddler Room
Our toddler room is engaging, full of fun and has enough space for 16 busy toddlers!
Our room provides endless opportunities for toddlers to fully play, explore and learn in whatever way they want to. Allowing a flexible environment to change and cater for their current needs and interests at any stage. Our toddlers will be given the opportunity to manage their own risks, engage in exciting activities and allow their imagination to go wild with our loose part provocations.

Pre Pre-school
Our pre pre-school room is a vibrant and nurturing space designed especially for children who are ready for a little more challenge and independence before moving into preschool. With space for up to 16 children, this room bridges the gap between toddlerhood and preschool, offering a calm, engaging environment where confidence can grow.
In this room, children are encouraged to become curious learners, developing early skills such as turn-taking, independence, early communication and problem-solving. The environment is thoughtfully designed to adapt to their needs, with areas that promote imaginative play, early mark making, construction, sensory exploration and small-group learning.
Our team carefully plans activities and provocations around each child’s interests, ensuring they feel motivated, supported and excited to learn. With a strong focus on building social skills and independence, our pre pre-school room helps children feel ready, prepared and enthusiastic for the next step into preschool.
Pre-school
Our preschool building is separate to the main building, accessed via our incredible garden. Up to 32 preschool aged children get to enjoy this well equipped room, packed with opportunities for play, physical activity, quiet spaces and endless fun.
Our preschool is designed with the children at the heart of everything we do and offer. Our room is mouldable and changeable to grow and develop with the preschoolers. With constant free flow to our beautiful garden our preschool children are able to learn skills which will last a lifetime.
Our resources and provocations are planned specifically for our children within the room at that time, we allow for opportunities to spark their natural curiosity while building on their interests and skills. The loose parts provided within the room enable plenty of risk taking, problem solving and creative play.

Meet The Manager

Harrison
Nursery Manager
My early years journey has been built on heart, dedication, and the belief that every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued.
Over the years I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, families, and incredible teams, always with one goal in mind: to create spaces where everyone can truly thrive.
Having made my home in Farnham, community means a great deal to me, and I believe a nursery should be an extension of that, a place where families feel supported, children are celebrated, and staff feel proud, valued, and inspired to do what they love every day. For me, nursery life isn’t just a career, it’s a calling. I lead with warmth, integrity, and high expectations, championing a culture where teamwork, trust, and passion shine through every interaction, because when staff feel supported and children feel secure, that’s when the magic truly happens.

Our Nursery
Our Godalming nursery is full of exciting resources to explore. Older toddlers and preschoolers have an extensive role play area, well stocked arts and crafts area with their own art gallery wall and plenty of cosy spaces too. Book lovers, budding scientists and quiet puzzle enthusiasts will all find something they love at Toddletown.
Across the nursery, children have access to resources that cover the seven areas of learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage. There are endless opportunities for exploration and imaginations to run wild.
If you are looking for a nursery place for your baby, we have a light and airy room with plenty of resources to help their cognitive and physical development. Dedicated black and white areas for our youngest babies and fantastic play equipment for when they’re steady on their feet! And of course, lots of areas for cuddles and cosy time with a much loved book.
The Garden
Opportunities for learning and development don’t stop when the children go outside. We offer free-flow access into the garden and we go outside in all weathers. With a purpose built water play area, mud kitchen, all-weather sandpit and the Toddletown Sheep, the hardest part is choosing which area of the garden they want to explore!
We are fortunate to have Farncombe’s beautiful recreation ground just across the road from the nursery. This provides us with even more opportunities for physical development, bug hunting and family events.
Curiosity Cabin
Our toddlers and preschoolers love exploring the curiosity cabin! Contact us to book your tour of the nursery and find out more.

Meet The Manager

Karen
Nursery Manager
I have worked in the early years sector since gaining my qualification 16 years ago and beginning my career in a local nursery.
I wanted to see a little bit more of the world, so took off to explore some of Europe while working for the holiday company Mark Warner. Having worked several seasons in Greece and finally in Egypt I met my husband and welcomed my first son. With my son starting school I joined another local nursery and progressed to Room Leader. I love that in my job, no day is the same; one day you could be an explorer in the Amazon jungle, and the next you could be covered in gloop investigating the world of letters and numbers.
